Program of Study

Third Year Structure

Combination of four units MEDI3101(A and B) and MEDI4101 (A and B) into two new, 21 credit point units - MEDI4001A and MEDI4001B.

The new structure comprises the following,

  • 80 units / 48 credit points at 1000 level;
  • 80 units / 48 credit points at 2000 level;
  • 70 units / 36 credit points at 4000 level; and
  • 10 units / 6 credit points at 6000 level.

Reference to course being an AQF level 7 bachelor degree removed as students graduate with an AQF level 9 Masters Extended degree.

All students will be transitioned to the new version of the Course Rules.

Year 3 of the degree will be offered for the first time in 2019. The School will advise current students of the change to units in Year 3. Students’ progression is not affected by the change.
