From 2019, NESA subject content knowledge Requirements for Languages specify that units contributing to a Language must be completed at post-introductory level of study ie at 200-level and above. Language units at 100-level have been removed from the program of study but advised is provided on how to include them if required. The title of the Primary specialisation in English is changed to English/Literacy. Group 1: Core Units
Group 2: Curriculum Units Enrolment instructions for each Teaching Area have been updated. Specific units have been marked with an asterisk to indicate compulsory units for each teaching area. Secondary Teaching area in Science has been split into: Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Science; or Physics. These areas must complete all four Science curriculum units.
