Update to Exit Pathway
The current exit pathway of GCPP is not feasible because it asks students to complete the DYPP unit which would be surplus to the MSW (Q) course requirements. The exit pathway has been amended to state that students can apply to transfer to the GCPP and complete DYPP500.

Program of study
New 'Social Work in practice’ units remove the intensives from the HSSW subjects they are currently held in (HSSW400 and HSSW510), and offer the chance for the students to complete Social Work in Practice 3 and 4. Those students who choose not to transition to the 2023 course plan will continue to attend subjects as per the current course plan.

• Core units: HSSW400, HSSW401 and HSSW510 replaced with HSSW400B, HSSW401B and HSSW501B
• HSSW555 and HSSW655 have been added as core units
• Listed unit component removed

Due to numerous changes all students will transition to 2018 rules. Each student will receive an individual course progression which will take into account (consultation with students as required):

• their existing completions;
• the number of credit points required to complete the  course;
• the number of 2018 core units required; and
• a suggested course progression plan.
