Unit information
This unit allows you to bring together all of your learning in previous units relevant to transition and succession planning, and synthesise solutions in real-world contexts involving family settings and businesses. You will be guided in the use of transition and succession planning software to organise and analyse information on hypothetical scenarios, based on real-life transition and succession matters. You will have an opportunity to develop and communicate a comprehensive transition and succession plan for your hypothetical clients.

Learning outcomes
Upon completion of this unit, students will be able to:
- apply a broad range of specialised skills and knowledge to analyse and evaluate issues in complex transition and succession scenarios;
- describe and understand the typical software products that are used in transition and succession planning to initiate, plan, implement and evaluate sophisticated transition and succession options for clients;
- apply high-level creativity and expert judgement to synthesise solutions to complex transition and succession problems; and
- use high level language skills, communicate effectively with clients and other relevant transition and succession professionals complex transition and succession arrangements.
