Sven Rees

Biography

Dr Sven Rees is a lecturer within the discipline of Exercise and Sport Science. He joins UNE from the Australian College of Physical Education. Prior to his appointment at ACPE, he lectured at the University of Technology Sydney.

Sven completed his PhD. in Sports and Exercise Science (2008), investigating the effects of exercise intervention strategies on neuromuscular and functional performance in an older population. Sven has extensive experience in Sport and Exercise Science; having worked as a Strength and Condition Coach at the NSW Institute of Sport and as a Sport Scientist at the Sydney Academy of Sport.
