Biography

Bec completed her Bachelor of Science (Hons) at UNE in 1994, majoring in biochemistry and microbiology. She then worked in the local hospital pathology laboratory, initially as a histology technician before moving into other areas including microbiology, haematology and blood banking. During this time, she completed a Bachelor of Medical Science (Pathology) at Charles Stuart University.

Bec initially worked at UNE as a microbiology laboratory technician, before returning to work in pathology. She then commenced as the Pharmacy Laboratory Technician in 2014, and is now responsible for the operation of the Pharmacy Laboratory.
