Biography

Matt Krug is a Lecturer in Nursing who has been employed with UNE since 2016.  He has held a variety of diverse roles within the organisation including Level B Academic, Data Analyst and Project Manager, roles focussed on Student Support and Government Reporting. Having over 10 years of experience in the Health Service Management environment, Matt’s professional background includes a variety of leadership roles ranging from Health Service Manager, Performance Analyst, Management Accountant and Clinical Unit Management. Clinical experience focused on critical care areas including Emergency, High Dependency and Operating Theatre, rounds out Matt’s extensive experience within the health care industry. He currently holds several university roles including Member of the Academic Board Curriculum Committee and DIGLG - Data, Information Governance & Literacy Group. Championing Rural Health, and the Rural Nursing Workforce, Matt is passionate about supporting students to achieving success, by providing excellence in student support and experience
