Biography

With experiences in both Critical Care and Cardiothoracic High Dependency specialty, Jenyfer aims to enrich the learning experience for her students. Jenyfer commenced in academia as a prospective student advisor at Western Sydney University in 2013, followed by her appointment as a Bioscience tutor for Badanami Indigenous Students in 2014.

Jenyfer has experience as a sessional academic at Western Sydney and Australian Catholic University’s, and held the position of Research Coordinator at Westmead Hospital Intensive Care Unit in 2021. She is deeply passionate about teaching and is dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment where her students can thrive.

Jenyfer's commitment to innovation is evident in her interest in digital health and e-learning within health education. She continuously explores new approaches to teaching and learning, leveraging technology to enhance the educational experience and prepare students for the challenges of modern healthcare.

Since 2022, Jenyfer has also taken on the role of Third-Year Leader at the University of New England, providing essential guidance to students as they navigate their final year of study. Her responsibilities include facilitating career opportunities in remote and metropolitan hospitals, fostering networking connections with healthcare organizations, and offering career support to students throughout their academic journey.
