Biography
Dr. Elizabeth Hale comes from Dunedin, in the South Island of New Zealand, where she studied English Literature and Latin at the University of Otago. She then studied in the United States, as a Fulbright Scholar at Brandeis University, gaining an MA and a PhD in English and American Literature. She has a special interest in creative approaches to the study of literature and teaches and researches in topics in children’s literature and media, fantasy literature, and nineteenth-century literature.
