Biography

Frank has been School Manager at the School of Environmental and Rural Science since 2007. He has over 20 years experience in finance and accounting, resource and risk management, and research budgeting and administration within the University of New England.

As School Manager, Frank oversees the management of all School administrative and technical staff, contributes to strategic and policy development, oversees research grant applications, funding and compliance requirements, manages the School's physical facilities and assets, and provides direction to the School's administrative and business information systems.

Frank has been involved on a range of committees and working parties within the School and the University, encompassing areas such as marketing, rural properties management, construction project management, environmental impact, OHS/WHS, and equity.

Recently, Frank has maintained a strong involvement with the UNE SIFE/Enactus Team. Highlights include:

  • Obtaining a $150,000 DEEWR Grant for the Enactus Minimbah Birth Certificate Project 'Enhance Educational Outcomes for Aboriginal Students' - 2013-14.
  • Faculty Advisor for UNE Enactus Team - 2013 Enactus Australian Champions. Competed at Enactus World Cup in Mexico.
  • Recipient of the 'SIFE/Enactus Australian Business Advisory Board Member of the Year' award - 2012.
