Biography

Dr Maree Lake has been involved in teaching and utilising mathematics in applied contexts for over 20 years, with a wide range of experience within universities as a teacher and researcher, as well as in industry.

Qualifications

PhD, MTeach(Sec), GradCertCivEng, BAppSc(Maths)

Research Interests

Maree’s goal is to share her enthusiasm for mathematics and demonstrate its applications, to assist students to overcome barriers to learning in this area, and support learners at all levels and ages to develop numeracy and mathematical skills, which creates opportunities and removes participation challenges in numerous aspects of life and employment.
