Research Interests

Mahinda Siriwardana is an internationally recognised researcher in economics, especially in the fields of Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) modelling, trade policy analysis and carbon price modelling. Mahinda has developed several CGE models during his career and they include models for Victoria, Australia, China, and Singapore. Consultancy Interests

My main consultancy interests include the modelling environmental policies and carbon pricing, emissions trading nationally and internationally; modelling the impact of free trade agreements (FTAs) and trade facilitation. CGE modelling is the main technique to be applied.
