Sally Muir Agriculture Postgraduate Research Award offers three successful candidates $3000.00 worth of financial assistance each for one year.

About the project:

Sally Muir graduated from UNE 1970 BRurScience (Hons) in the name of Gillian Sara Dyson. She completed a doctorate at Sydney University in 1991 and was variously employed at University of Western Sydney in Informatics, Science and Technology and DPI, based in Tamworth. The Sally Muir Postgraduate Research Award has been established to support postgraduate studies in Agricultural Studies.

Scholarships and Awards are a method of recognising outstanding performance and endeavour by a student of the University in the fields of academic performance (including research), personal development, social and community contributions and/or sporting prowess.

Scholarships and Awards are granted at the discretion of the University and through the generosity of donors, both private and public. It shall be a condition of any acceptance of a scholarship that the University may advertise the first and last name of recipients.

How will the scholarship be paid?

Funds will be paid directly into successful applicant's bank account.
