Parkinson’s Disease in Australia: Regional differences in quality of life

Overview

We are looking at whether people living in regional, rural and remote Australia differ from those living in metropolitan areas in things like quality of life and access to medical care. We will also look at regional differences in demographics, symptom progression and diagnosis, treatment use and preferences, and satisfaction with current standards of service provision. We are collecting this data using an online Qualtrics survey. Our research will be the first to provide quantitative data on the differences between rural, regional and metropolitan Parkinson’s patients across Australia.
