eResearch Committee

Under the current terms of reference, UNE’s eResearch Committee is responsible for advancing the University’s eResearch services provided to the researchers in software applications, hardware, training and advice; and for reporting to the Deputy Vice Chancellor in relation to eResearch activities, strategies and infrastructure.

The Committee’s strategic priorities are:

  • to progress digital dominance in the research context, as per the 2016-2020 UNE Strategic Plan, and
  • to seek opportunities to align the University’s eResearch priorities with relevant national strategies, including the National Innovation and Science Agenda, the 2016 National Research Infrastructure Roadmap and the ARC’s Science and Research Priorities.

In order to respond to challenges and opportunities in eResearch as they arise, the Committee will propose a 12-month program of projects at the beginning of each year to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, which will drive the Committee’s business.
