The best thing about living at Robb: The best thing about Robb College is the people you meet and the bonds you form. Robb is a friendly place that welcomes people from all walks of life and is a place that fosters lifelong friendships. Robb pushes you to achieve your best academically and encourages you to get involved at every opportunity that presents itself. The extra-circular activities you involve yourself in is where you will form the closest friendships and get the best out of life at Robb. It’s also a great platform to get your foot in the door post-university with so many valuable contacts from various industries committed to help you as much as much as they can.

What you would like to do beyond graduation:

After graduation I plan to take a year off study and use it to travel and work overseas. I would like to spend 6-12 months in Canada working and travelling before beginning my career. The course I am studying ‘Bachelor of Agriculture/Bachelor of Business’ has a strong focus on agriculture as well as practising innovative business techniques. I want to apply what I learn from this and contribute positively to the agricultural industry in either consultancy work or trading.

Letter of appreciation

To whom it may concern,

My name is Joshua Jones and I am the 2020 recipient of the Darren Ellis Fund scholarship. I just wanted to write to you to express my gratitude for the support. This support will go a long way in supporting me towards achieving my potential in both study’s and my time at Robb College. Working often takes up a large portion of my study time and even more during holidays. This scholarship will allow me to devote more time towards catching up on lectures, completing assignments and revising for exams. This will give me a great opportunity to improve my results across the board. Once again, I would like to say how grateful I am to be the recipient of this scholarship.

Kind regards,

Josh Jones
