The new research information management system currently being built for UNE will be released into production later this year and to prepare for the launch, you are invited to participate in User Acceptance Testing for Phase 1 of the RIMS project.
The RIMS project is seeking individuals involved in project application submissions, application reviewers, and application approvers to be trained in the first instance in the new system and then to take part in formal user acceptance testing.
Overall, the participant requirement is:
- Up to 4 academics to test the project application form
- 1 representative from each faculty to review the project application form
- 1 representative from each faculty to approve the project application form.
UAT is scheduled to commence on 17 October and will be held over two weeks. UAT participants are asked to be available for testing during this time, although the individual testing requirement is dependent on the user profile being tested. The estimated time you will need to allocate to actual testing is a maximum two hours a day, 2-3 times a week for the two UAT weeks.
If you would like to participate in the testing or more information, please contact rims.project@une.edu.au
