The Master of IT, by contrast, offers greater depth and breadth, more opportunity for advanced units and specialisation options, and stronger signalling for roles that expect a master's-level qualification. In many cases, the Graduate Diploma can function as a stackable qualification, meaning credits may contribute toward the Master's, depending on course rules.

In short: Choose the Graduate Diploma if you want to enter the workforce quickly; choose the Master's if you want stronger positioning for senior roles or further study.
