This cutting-edge program is designed to equip professionals with advanced skills in artificial intelligence and its applications in driving innovation within existing enterprises or new ventures.
The 9-week program (beginning October 2024) blends online learning with two intensive bootcamps at NOVA in Armidale. Participants will engage with leading AI practitioners, educators, industry experts, and the UNE SRI founder community. The experience promises to be both intense and rewarding, offering real-world benefits that can be immediately applied to drive value and test new ideas.
Who’s it for? This program is ideal for individuals eager to fast-track their careers by applying AI to business challenges. It caters to those who thrive in a hands-on learning environment alongside peers ready to elevate business outcomes.
Eligibility: There are two pathways to join the program. Commonwealth Funded Places through the STARTUP HELP Program for those in their final year of a Bachelor’s Degree, enrolled in a postgraduate course, or who have completed their studies within the last three years. This option offers a loan of $6360. Others can join as a full- fee paying student at $6360. This option is for individuals with five years of professional work experience or a Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience.
Bootcamps in Armidale (NOVA):
- Bootcamp 1: 24-26 October 2024
- Bootcamp 2: 18-20 December 2024
Attendance at both bootcamps is compulsory.
Program structure: The curriculum includes deep dive learning, real project work, networking with founders and innovators, and testing ideas. Assessments mirror real-world investment processes, including teamwork, pitching, business canvas development, and prototyping.

What’s included: The course fee of $6360 covers access to AI tools, study materials, networking events, and college accommodation for the bootcamps. Travel to Armidale is not included.
Completion of this course allows articulation into existing Master’s programs at UNE, including the MBA, with the Graduate Certificate in AI Innovation providing a head start of up to one-third of your Master’s degree.
