Winter 2022 is expected to bring as many as 1000 Graduands and their guests into Armidale across the weekend.

On-campus graduations resumed in May 2022 at UNE after a two year hiatus, where more than 1000 graduands and their guests visited the region for the weekend.

Acting UNE Vice-Chancellor Professor Simon Evans said that he is looking forward to welcoming UNE Graduands and their guests to Armidale again.

“After the great success of the resumption of Graduation in Armidale in May, our teams have been working hard to create another memorable event for our Graduands,” Professor Evans said.

“This event means so much to our UNE Graduands and their families to mark the end of their studies, and the UNE community is proud to host the influx of people visiting our region. For many Graduands this may be their first visit to UNE Armidale.

“For Winter Graduation I also extend a warm welcome to members of the community to hear from our speakers at each of the ceremonies,” he said.
