Resolution: Does Convocation agree that it is appropriate with respect to the interests of the University:

• a) to adopt the Protocol for the Safe and Effective Conduct of the First Meeting of Convocation.
• b) to adopt today’s agenda.

3. Convocation proposal 1

That Convocation proposes to Council the establishment of a Standing Committee of Convocation, with elected representatives from each of the Convocation constituencies, including with strong staff representation, and the Standing Committee will convene meetings of Convocation at least twice per year.

4. Convocation proposal 2

That Convocation proposes to Council that it and Senior Management of the University must strengthen accountability to the University community, and ensure transparent and collaborative decision-making.
