Parent and Student Testimonials
“It's a fantastic place to live and I have always felt comfortable, safe and had so many great experiences at events. It's 10 out of 10, and would recommend it to anybody thinking of studying at UNE.”
Callum Reid - Bachelor of Medical ScienceI love how everyone is accepting of my identity and how I don't have to put on a mask around people and just be myself. Being an indigenous student I get to showcase my culture when it comes to things like NAIDOC week and Reconciliation week which is great. Also having the opportunity to do acknowledgement of country at the formal dinners is awesome. I would definitely recommend Mary White to everyone.
River Shea - TRACKS"At Mary White College, I discovered more than just a place to study — I found a vibrant community that felt like home from day one. The campus's close-knit, diverse environment fostered an inclusive atmosphere where individual expression was not just accepted but celebrated. Mary White College has provided me with a supportive network of like-minded peers who quickly became friends for life.
Jess Trow - Bachelor of Education (K - 12)"My time at Mary White College so far has been nothing but positive. The college has a very academic outlook, allowing me to excel at my course. As well as academic, Mary White has a thriving social life with numerous sporting options available and so many fun events."
Jaide Robinson - Bachelor of Criminology / Bachelor of Laws"Moving to Armidale was a pretty big decision for me, being so far from home, and surrounded by strangers. I had no idea what to expect moving into Mary White. I chose it at first for the convenience of being close to my classes and the library, yet Mary White became more than just a convenient place to eat and sleep at. Mary White became a home, and a place to live."
