Dr Mansi Dass Singh

Biography
Mansi has a doctorate in Medicine with specialisation in Nutrigenomics from the University of Adelaide on “Diet and DNA damage in South Australian Infants: The DADHI study”.
Her previous education includes graduation in science and a post graduate degree in human nutrition (University of Delhi, India). She was awarded the Best Student Award in her master’s degree following which she was successful in completing University Grant Commission exam to be selected for a Lecturer position in the University of Delhi, India where she taught nutrition, health and physiology to the first-generation women learners for 10 years. During this time, she was invited to speak at community forums about maternal nutrition and micronutrient deficiencies by the Ministry of Human Resources and various non-governmental organisations.
In 2008, she migrated with her family to make Australia her new home and gained experience of teaching in the Australian tertiary ecosystems through her tutoring roles at South Australian Universities. She was a senior lecturer at the Endeavour College of Natural Health where she coordinated nutritional biochemistry, nutrition for life span, dietary analytics, nutritional physiology research and food as medicine for 7 years.
She joined University of New England in 2022 as a member of Biomedical team and currently coordinates human nutrition, science for nurses I and II and integrating science for nurses: pathophysiology and pharmacology.
She is a practicing nutritionist.
Her research interests include personalised nutrition for optimum maternal health, nutrigenomics and nutritional biochemical pathways for mental wellbeing.
