Qualtrics

UNE now holds a site license for Qualtrics (survey software) which can be accessed at https://unesurveys.au1.qualtrics.com.

Both staff and students can sign up for an account (following the steps on the login page).

As part of the license UNE users can contact the Australian support line 02 8310 8032 as well as access the support resources at https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/getting-started/help-and-feedback/

Learn Qualtrics in 5 Steps

If you are looking for a quick crash course on Qualtrics, try the 5 step program. The program takes 1-2 hours to complete and will teach you how to design, distribute, and report on a survey.

Qualtrics Basics - Online courses

Qualtrics® is a powerful survey creation tool. It is easy enough to support simple surveys, but also has powerful features for complex academic and market research.

During this training series, you will learn the basics of creating Qualtrics surveys and all the basic question types. You will also learn how to distribute your survey through email or by creating a link to share with other tools.

Finally, you will learn about the robust report creation tools to analyze your data.

Begin Qualtrics - Advanced online courses

NVIVO

UNE now holds a site license for NVivo for student computers (UNE owned as well as home use). Please go to our software downloads area to download and install the software.

There are are limited number of online training vouchers available for two courses "Fundamentals of NVIVO" and "Moving on with NVIVO" for both Mac and Windows users.  These are run online (instructor-led, not self-paced) at regular intervals by NVIVO.

If you are interested in signing up, please email it-training@une.edu.au for an access code voucher. Please include the course you would like to complete either the fundamentals or moving on and if using a Mac or Windows.

SPSS

SPSS Statistics, the world’s leading statistical software, is designed to solve business and research problems through ad hoc analysis, hypothesis testing, geospatial analysis and predictive analytics. SPSS Statistics is used to understand data, analyse trends, forecast and plan to validate assumptions, and drive accurate conclusions.

InfoBase SPSS 24 Online Training Course

Take the SPSS 24 Pre-Assessment course which will help you measure your current knowledge of SPSS® 24. Log in using your UNE username and password.

After completing the pre-assessments course, explore the SPSS 24 Basics and/or  Experimental Analysis with SPSS 24 training, where you can refine and hone your skills. After completing these video tutorials, you may like to take a the post-assessment to prove your knowledge and earn a certificate of completion.
