Cultural collections preserve the past to promote the future. UNEMA’s Adopt-an-Artefact program enables members of the community to make a tax-deductible donation to sponsor the conservation of artefacts in need of assistance. 100% of funds donated to conserve the Museum’s collections are used to help preserve UNEMA’s artefacts for future generations.

Greetings. I’m M. Porcius Cato, a 5^th century BC southern Italian drinking vessel fashioned in the shape of a wild boar and the unofficial mascot of UNEMA. When I arrived at UNEMA I didn’t have a leg to stand on (I guess you could say I was legless!). A former curator kindly made some forelegs for me. Unfortunately, those legs are all wrong – they’re bent the wrong way and made from unsuitable material. Can you help me get some new prosthetic legs?
