Be closer to everything.

Mary White College

Mary White is the only residential college located on the academic campus — so you're closer to lectures, Dixson Library, cafes and other campus facilities. Located behind historic Booloominbah, Mary White has great views over Armidale and a peaceful atmosphere.

We are also the only catered college on campus that offers a range of different room types.

We are now also offering self-catered options at Mary White, with two blocks offering flexible meal options and a dedicated kitchen. We are also one of three UNE Colleges to offer accessible accommodation.

Mary White College is committed to sustainability. Our recently renovated buildings have been designed with energy efficiency and water saving in mind. These new blocks contain double-glazed windows for heat insulation, and movement sensitive lighting. We have an active in-house recycling program and commitment to regular events such as Earth Hour.

We also attend Saumarez Homestead each year for a gardening and maintenance day, where we help keep the historic establishment in good condition. Saumarez, a National Trust heritage property, was the home of Miss Mary White, in whose honour our College is named.
