Trimester 1 – 2026 Application Dates

Applications for study in Trimester 1 in our domestic coursework courses (and Cross Institutional and Non-Award study) for 2026 opened Friday 1 August 2025.  Trimester 1 coursework commences on Monday 23 February 2026.

The on-time closing date for domestic students applying to UNE for most courses is Friday 13 February 2026. The final closing date (last day to apply is) is Tuesday 24 February 2026*. Please also check below for courses with specific early closing dates.

We recommend you submit your completed application before the on-time closing date because this gives you time to obtain your outcome, enrol and prepare to start your study journey when the Trimester commences (including engaging with our orientation materials).

Whilst we encourage you to get your application in on-time, we understand that sometimes this might not be possible, so for most of our courses you have a late application option enabling applicants to still submitting their completed application (including all supporting document/s) up until the first Tuesday of the teaching period and UNE will aim to get you an outcome prior to the last day to enrol for that Trimester.
