Career Development provides opportunities for students to participate in meaningful work experience as well as providing individual and group assistance to students to develop skills for the transition to graduate employment.
Counselling provides individual support to UNE students and consultation for staff. They also provide resources, workshops, seminars and other skill-building programs.

Elite Athlete Program provides support to students who are formally recognised elite athletes and provides strategies that ensure that they are not unduly disadvantaged academically or financially as a consequence of participation in their sporting commitments.
Special Needs Office provides reasonable adjustments to students with a temporary or permanent disability or medical condition, as well as carers. They also advise students regarding equity-related concerns.
Study Centres: UNE has established centres to provide students in regional NSW with access to facilities to support the learning process
Student Grievance Unit (complaints, compliments, and feedback) is an independent body which formally investigates student complaints about process and service delivery when an informal resolution cannot be reached.

Work Intergrated Learning (WIL: WORK300/WORK500) is a program available only to enrolled UNE students which provides an opportunity to gain practical knowledge and skills relevant to both study and career choice.
