Armidale Environment Centre Archives

The Armidale branch of The Wilderness Society (TWS) opened in 1987. It became the Armidale Environment Centre (AEC) in the 1990s. The AEC incorporated the North East Forest Alliance (NEFA) and Friends of the Earth. The AEC closed in 2002 and its archives (dating back to 1979) are now part of the Saunders War and Peace Collection.

This collection includes ephemera such as

  • meeting agendas

  • pamphlets
  • journals
  • letters
  • posters
  • policy statements
  • handwritten notes.

  4. Scroll down to the Get it section.
  5. Select Borrow from UNE
  6. Complete your request form, including the date after which the item is no longer required
  7. Submit your request.
