Please make sure your postal address is up-to-date in myUNE before making a request. To request a book loan: We will mail book loans to your postal address, anywhere in Australia. You can return these book loans for free with the return postage included. Return loans to the Library postal address. Please use Australia Post tracking labels, as lost items incur penalties. To request a copy of a chapter or section of a book: We will send copies of articles and book chapters to your UNE email address. You can request a digital copy of an article or legal case report if we only have the print journal or law report series in the library. To request a copy of an article or case report: We will send copies of articles and case reports to your UNE email address. UNE staff and students can request: You may request and be supplied with more than a reasonable amount if the book is commercially unavailable. A commercial availability check will be carried out by the library prior to supplying a digitised copy. UNE print theses are not available for physical loan. The UNE library may be able to copy and supply an entire print thesis for the purpose of research or study under section 51(2) of the Copyright Act 1968. The UNE Library will not provide access to UNE theses under section 51(2) of the Copyright Act 1968 until the period of restriction (if approved) has finished, or 3 years after degree conferral, whichever comes first. Further access conditions may apply and restrict the supply of a digitised thesis, such as if the thesis includes culturally sensitive information. Some more recent UNE theses are already electronically available via the university’s repository, RUNE.
