OpenAthens

The Library is implementing a new authentication system called OpenAthens to allow easy access to electronic resources.

OpenAthens is more secure and reliable than the current system, which has reached the end of its life. Most other universities use OpenAthens.

The main implication for you is that any personalisation, table of contents or saved searches will need to be reset.

For Reading lists, library search and A-Z database list, the links will be automatically updated.

The old system will still be available in the background.
