Borrow at other universities

UNE staff and students can join other university libraries in Australia and New Zealand (ULANZ).

Membership allows you to borrow books from the other library's shelves. Usually, it will not give you access to their online or high use content, including textbooks.

To join another university library, you will usually need to provide the library with a

  • completed application form, usually found on the host library's site;
  • photo ID Card (UNE Card or driver's license); and
  • proof of your current enrolment or employment.

The library may also charge you a fee. If so, we will refund 50% of the fee (up to $25).

To claim this refund,

  1. email a copy of the receipt to the Library Operations Specialist, and
  2. submit your banking details for payment through the UNE Reimbursement or Refund Form.
