Request from elsewhere
Do you need materials not held at the UNE Library for research or study purposes?
If you are staff or an eligible student (Grad Cert, Grad Dip, Honours, Masters or PhD), we can get loans or copies from other libraries for you using the Rapido platform within Library Search.
How to request
- Go to Library Search.
- Click on Sign In.
- Enter your UNE username and password when prompted.
- Run a search to check if the resource is in our collection.
- If unsuccessful, click on expand your search and re-run your search.
- If you find a match, click on the title to see your delivery options.
- Decide whether you need a digital copy or a physical loan, and make your request.
- Still don't find what you need, Click here to send a request.
- Complete the blank form and click on Submit.
Requesting limits
- Printed periodicals. One article or more than one article from the same issue if the articles relate to the same research or same unit of study.
- Print books. A reasonable amount, being one chapter or 10% of the number of pages (whichever amount is greater). You may request and be supplied with more than a reasonable amount if the book is commercially unavailable. A commercial availability check will be carried out by
the UNE LIbrary prior to sending the request. - Electronic material. The supply of electronic material from another library’s collection is subject to license terms. Copying limits may be set by the publisher, or in line with provisions in the Copyright Act 1968.
