All loans must be returned by the due date. You can check due dates, renewals and requests in My Library Account. If you need a book that is out on loan to another borrower, request it through Library Search and we will recall it. Recalling an item prevents anyone from renewing the item and may shorten the loan term to 2-3 weeks. To request an item: When the book becomes available, we will let you know by email or send it to your home address. It is your responsibility to return loans on time. You must pay a replacement cost if materials are lost or the returned in damaged condition. Where known, the replacement cost will be the actual sale cost. If this is unknown, there is a standard replacement cost of $130 for books. Technology and Digital Services (TDS) will determine the replacement cost for electronic equipment. You can return the lost item or replace it with a new or good quality second-hand copy. If so, the replacement cost may be cancelled at our discretion. Pay your fees online via our secure online payment gateway. Payments must be in full and will be processed within five (5) business days. You can also check your fees online. If you do not pay this fee, UNE may not release your results, preventing you from graduating.
