Traci Travers

Traci Travers is a Biripi woman with Kamilaroi and Anaiwan connections. She is an Indigenous Lecturer at the University of New England. Traci is also a Registered Nurse with over 26 years’ experience. She specialises in Indigenous mental health across diverse practice areas including cultural safety, education, and advocacy.

Traci’s work centres First Nations knowledges and lived experience.  It supports culturally safe learning environments and strengthens community-informed approaches in health and higher education.

Traci values storytelling and visual narrative as powerful ways of representing Country, identity, and belonging.
