Rewriting EZproxy links

The EZproxy authentication system has been decommissioned.

EZproxied links in UNE teaching materials will fail for off-campus students.

Teaching staff should inspect links in their teaching materials for an EZproxy string (red).

If the EZproxy string is present, the link must be rewritten. The steps are:

1. Delete the EZproxy string before the base URL. In the example above, the base URL is https://doi.org/10.1080/09687760701673568
2. Paste the base URL into the appropriate box in the OpenAthens Link Generator
3. Generate a new OpenAthens link.
4. Test the link before pasting it into your teaching materials.

Please note that this approach works best with simple DOI-based links. In other cases, refer to the instructions for creating durable links  for resources without DOIs.
