Terry Cooke

Terry Cooke is a retired land surveyor and information technology manager. Terry photographs and draws the landscapes and people of the New England High Country. He has published five books of his photography and has held several exhibitions of both his photography and drawings.

“Seven Billion Blind Mice” was Terry's exhibition of environmentally themed drawings. It was displayed in 2020 at the Armidale Art Gallery. In November 2022, his very successful “Drawing the Line” exhibition was displayed. This was a collection of drawings of imagined local landscapes. Terry published a book of his drawings in late 2023.

For the last 20 years Terry has photographed the Armidale Drama and Musical Society's musicals and plays. Many of his photographs on display at the Armidale Playhouse Theatre. He also photographs various sporting events including the Duval Dam Buster Trail Run.
