Matthew Cawood mostly earns his living through words. However he originally intended to be a photographer and seldom travels without a camera. He has written or contributed to several books about photography, including:

Matt's photos have appeared across a range of publications. He continues to photograph for UNE as part of his role in the University’s Communications unit.
