Excluded: Publishing provisions for Gold Open Access journals are not included in the agreement. (From 2025, a 10% discount will apply to APCs in Gold Open Access journals, as part of the agreement.)
Author affiliation: Affiliation is tied to the article's 'corresponding author'. The corresponding author must be affiliated with UNE at the time of the article's acceptance, and use their UNE email domain (@une.edu.au, @myune.edu.au) to be identified as eligible.
Eligible article type: Research articles, Review articles, Case reports, Brief reports. View Eligible articles.
Article allowance limit (Cap): Yes (for 2024, to be removed in 2025). A cap applies to the number of accepted articles permitted per calendar year for the duration of the agreement. The cap is applied to all participating institutions, i.e. institutions are not given an allocation of accepted articles to draw down on. The cap will be drawn down on a ‘first come, first served basis’
