Book an appointment
ASO offers all appointments (30 or 60 minutes) through Zoom or by assignment drop-in. Phone appointments are also available for simple questions. Bookings are available for all students enrolled at UNE.
We can help you with study skills such as:
- Critical thinking
- Exam preparation
- Global or local issues of assignment writing (e.g., focus, reference, clarity)
- Note taking
- Time management
Prepare for your appointment
For Zoom:
- Check your appointment email response for log in details.
For assignment drop-in:
- Upload your assignment instruction and draft to the booking system.
- Book an appropriate appointment duration. Reviews are limited to 1000 words for a 30-minute appointment or 2500 words for a 60-minute appointment.
- Log in to the booking system to download your draft feedback. This feedback will be available by close of business on the day of your appointment.
- We do not proofread your draft or provide feedback on content.
You can update your booking and upload new files until 20 minutes before your session begins.
Please complete the short anonymous survey sent after each session. Your feedback helps us improve our support.
Cancel your appointment
If you cannot attend your session, please log in to cancel it as soon as possible. This will make it available to other students.
If you do not cancel and don't show up three (3) times, you’ll receive a warning email. Continued no-shows may result in access restrictions unless a valid reason is provided.
