Dr Shawn Leu

Dr. Shawn Leu is senior lecturer of macroeconomics at UNE Business School. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Auckland, NZ and his MEc and PhD degrees at the University of Sydney. His research interests are in applied macroeconomics, open economy macroeconomics, monetary economics, and international finance. He previously taught at La Trobe University and has held visiting positions at the International Monetary Fund, Macquarie University, and University of Cincinnati.

David has over 25 years’ experience in advising private companies, family owned businesses and their shareholders in all aspects of growing and managing their businesses.

David has thorough knowledge and understanding of the unique characteristics and issues affecting private and family groups. He has extensive experience in equity succession, estate and exit planning, shareholder agreements, corporate governance policies, structuring advice, business and strategic planning, together with his traditional business advisory services.
