Main Steps to Access Web Kiosk

New and Returning Staff

  1. To gain access to Web Kiosk, completed paperwork for your current contract needs to be sent to Human Resources and entered into the HR system Alesco which will generate a Staff number (if you don't already have one). Note that before you can start applying for any system access, a Staff number is required.
  2. There is no longer a need to contact anyone about Web Kiosk access as this will be automatically setup, usually within 1-2 hours of your contract being entered in Alesco.
  3. Once you have your Staff number you can apply for an IT account by completing the 'New Account form – Staff' which can be found on the ITD web page,  (If all you require is access to Web Kiosk and your staff email account, complete Section 1 only and sign the Employee Compliance Statement on the second page).
  4. Take the completed form with photo id to the IT service desk located on Level 2 (main entry) of the Dixson Library to setup your password. Once this is done you will have access to your UNE staff email account which will also be your Web Kiosk login username and password.
  5. Off campus staff unable to personally visit the Service Desk should email the completed 'New Account form – Staff' and email for instructions on how to receive their password.
  6. Payroll notifications about change of deadlines for timesheets and all Web Kiosk notifications will be sent to your staff email address. Note this cannot be a Student account as Web Kiosk can only generate emails to your Staff email account. For casuals it is important that you activate this account, if for no other reason than to receive notification when a supervisor either approves or rejects your timesheet.
  7. Once your IT account has been setup please go to myUNE ( and update your security questions.
  8. This will allow you to reset your network password at any time by yourself.
  9. If after following all the above steps, you experience difficulties with logging into Web Kiosk please email for assistance.


  1. Payment Summaries are available online via Web Kiosk for current and ex-UNE staff.
  2. You will still be able to access Web Kiosk even if your IT staff account has expired so try logging in first. If you have forgotten your password please contact and ask that your web kiosk password be reset.
