Upon completion of this unit, students will be able to:
- apply advanced critical thinking skills to identify clearly an area of academic study appropriate to postgraduate level work;
- demonstrate intellectual independence and work effectively with limited supervision;
- demonstrate a coherent and advanced understanding of the principal themes and methodology in their chosen area of study within the history discipline; and
- critically analyse key themes within history of study and present a clear and coherent exposition of knowledge and ideas.
