Throughout Assignment writing, students are required to reference all sources AND create a bibliography of readings at the end of an essay or report. Different lecturers might ask for different referencing styles: APA, MLA, AGPS, Vancouver, Chicago… the list goes on. There are many ways to reference and referencing software can make this so much easier, you can store your references as you go and then you can insert the reference into your assignments in the style you need and build your bibliography as you do this.

This session introduces you to two referencing programs called Zotero and Mendeley which are accessible for free to UNE students, a great place to start with referencing software.
