John Nevin is a lifelong resident of New England.  For over thirty years he conducted a consultant practice in General Medicine based in Armidale and visiting clinics at many centres throughout the surrounding district.His areas of special interest have included Cardiology, Medical Oncology and Gastroenterology.  From 2007 to 2010 he assisted with the setting up of the JMP at the University of New England.  Following that, working as an Adjunct, he gave lectures and provided tuition of clinical skills to the JMP students.
