Jane Edwards is an experienced academic leader in research development and academic mentoring. Her research interests intersect creative arts, methodology, health, child and family, and mental wellbeing. She is sole editor for the Oxford Handbook of Music Therapy published in 2016 and is Editor-in-Chief for The Arts in Psychotherapy published by Elsevier. Jane has given more than 20 keynote lectures in seven countries. She is the President of the Association for the Wellbeing of Children in Healthcare.  Prior to commencing at UNE she has worked as a researcher or senior academic leader in seven universities across four countries; Australia, Germany, Ireland and the UK.
