Biography

Peter Noble recently stepped down as Chairman of the Australian Meat Processor Corporation (AMPC). He has served 9 years on the Board with the last two as Chair. Previously he had been Chair of the Audit and Risk committee.

Currently he is a Director of Invasive Animals Ltd and Chair of its Governance and Remuneration Committee.

He was a board member of the inaugural Principles of Sustainable Insurance, a Finance Initiative of the United Nations Environment Program.

Prior to overseeing its sale in 2014, Peter held the position as Chairman of Directors for the family company, GM Scott Pty Ltd (GMS), where he had been a Director and shareholder since 1988.

Peter holds degrees in Law and Commerce from the University of NSW and has practised law with International law firms in Australia, the United States and Asia. He is currently an adjunct Associate Professor in Law and Agriculture at the University of New England.

Throughout his career, Peter has been an executive leader and senior lawyer with seats on numerous boards and executive leadership teams. His legal background includes numerous high-profile matters conducted while working with prominent global law firms.
