River Valley Profiles for the Northern Murray-Darling Basin

The key task of this project is bringing together data from disparate information sources and presenting them in a readily accessible form, drawing out key facts that will inform policy makers and the community about the similarities and differences in social, economic and resource characteristics within the thirteen river basins in the Northern Murray Darling Basin.

The report will provide a readily accessible reference document that informs decision makers of relevant nuances between the thirteen river basins. Indirectly this will inform policy debate and development on a range of issues pertinent to the northern MDB.
