Integrated Parasite Management in the Australian Sheep Industry

Drench resistance by internal and external parasites of sheep is a serious problem in the Australian wool industry. The Institute took part in a major national program on Integrated Parasite Management being undertaken by a partnership of research and extension organisations around Australia. The Institute undertook a national benchmark study of the parasite management practices being used by wool producers and repeated the survey several years later to provide an evaluation of the impact of the Integrated Parasite Management program.
