Economic Development Strategies for Inland Rural Towns

This study, funded by the Australian Research Council, was one of the first in Australia to apply the industry clustering perspective to an inland rural region and to develop this as a model for a distinctly Australian adaptation of the principles of industry clustering.

The project was part of a wider plan to develop an economic development strategy based on clustering principles, for the whole of the New England and north-west region.
